We should start using the blogs plugin for making "announcements". Announcements are similar to comments, but (1) they have a subject (not only a body) and (2) they have a state "draft" and "published". As a user I want to edit my announcement, possible send a "preview" email to myself or somebody else (a reviewer), and then "publish" it. This would send it to "everybody who is interested". blogs.EntriesByCommentable
