When you open e.g. the list ot all tickets in Jane, you have to wait a few seconds until the data is loaded before you can enter a search expression in the quick search field. Because that field and the toolbar are disabled by the loadmask. If they weren't, users could type a search expression there already while data is being loaded and save some seconds of useless waiting time.
