Now that we have a 'working' menu that's generated from a json struct from the Lino App, we should create a test-case for it, so that during refactoing / rewriting the renderer, we will catch any errors that are made.

Main question in my mind is how to run the django server and run the node testing code.

Good idea would be to look at the testing code from the react-django guide.
