Getlino asks you to specify --log-base even if you are not root, which means that the value won't be used. And there are other such examples. All those parameters are defined in CONFIGURE_OPTIONS (in getlino.configure), and ATM getlino has no "dynamic" approach for deciding whether it makes sense to ask for a given parameter or not. For example asking for the --log-base makes no sense unless running as root. CONFIGURE_OPTIONS is a list of simple click.Option instances (which do not have an attribute for this). But we might extend this logic somehow.
