6 ans, 6 mois ago by tonis about #3612 (Filtering on a remote field to a virtual field) : Sounds like a slow operation. Perhaps We can extend the VirtualField to contain 2 DB tables. One that's cached. IE every time the field is computed it's saved to this second field, which can then be used for filtering.
Would slow down reading of rows with this new CachedField, quite a bit.

6 ans, 6 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #3612 (Filtering on a remote field to a virtual field) : I'd like to allow a filter parameter on AllEntries that shows only entries whose project (a nullable pointer to Client) in in a given municipality (where municipality is a virtual field).
