- 6 aastat, 5 kuud ago by tonis about #3615 (url_prefix not being applied in the assumed way) : yes, I'll move the comment over. Looks like I got my tabs mixed up.
- 6 aastat, 5 kuud ago by Luc Saffre in reply to tonis about #3615 (url_prefix not being applied in the assumed way) : Isn't this rather about #3616 instead of #3615?
- 6 aastat, 5 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #3615 (url_prefix not being applied in the assumed way) : Hm, that will add complexity. Simply another settings module (e.g. lino_book.projects.roger.settings.publisher) would do the same, and then we could even write specific doctests for this config.
- 6 aastat, 5 kuud ago by tonis about #3615 (url_prefix not being applied in the assumed way) : I'll make a fork in book in which roger has the publisher module.
- 6 aastat, 5 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #3615 (url_prefix not being applied in the assumed way) : Great! I now commented out the publisher demo in roger because it was breaking the test suite. Next big step is to turn the publisher front end into something useful. Regarding url_prefix A or B : Let's leave it for now as Tonis did it. I currently imagine that in the future we say something like: a...
- 6 aastat, 5 kuud ago by tonis about #3615 (url_prefix not being applied in the assumed way) : Didn't have a do any funny logic with dynamically adding the ul_prefix. Most urls were statically written with "/...' but if they're ".../..." they're relative and will work when the url_prefix is set to some value, and we can still request static files and other things we know for sure need to be /...
- 6 aastat, 5 kuud ago by tonis in reply to Luc Saffre about #3615 (url_prefix not being applied in the assumed way) : OK. I'll commit and push the force_url_prefix thing, as it's not dangerous. And will implement the linoFetch method for automatically adding the prefix. If we decide to go for your idea, it's not much work to revert the logic.
One issue im seeing with the idea of having publisher work ontop of N fro... - 6 aastat, 5 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #3615 (url_prefix not being applied in the assumed way) (1 reply) : Do not commit to master anything dangerous in lino or xl as we will soon move avanti to a new server.
- 6 aastat, 5 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #3615 (url_prefix not being applied in the assumed way) : Basic idea : make it possible to have a single Lino process serving e.g. three front ends : extjs, react and publisher. One of them is the default_ui and is served at the site's top-level url, the other two are below /react and /extjs respectively. Only the default_ui is yielded automatically by get...
- 6 aastat, 5 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #3615 (url_prefix not being applied in the assumed way) : I spontaneously was preferring the A) solution. But it's indeed complex and deserves meditation.
- 6 aastat, 5 kuud ago by tonis about #3615 (url_prefix not being applied in the assumed way) : fixed webpack requresting the static files it needs from /admin/static. Forgot a preceding / in the conf. Also got a variable set with the prefix if there is one... now just gotta work though each url reference and update it with the prefix...
- 6 aastat, 5 kuud ago by tonis about #3615 (url_prefix not being applied in the assumed way) : Seems the reason it doesn't work off the bat is that if the plugin is the default_ui; lino sets it to None, making it the root uri.
Bootstrap and exts also have prefixes. Makes sense. Means we would have to either: A) make the publisher module be the default_ui (Lots of bugs and not what we want...
