Seems that the issue that caused Hobbit to fail was that we didn't update the static conig in lino_local to point to env/static_root. After updating the settings in lino_local.py, the lino_local settings work for hobbit. Going to also update jane's wsgi. Froinde seems to work...

  Tried adding the data to settings.py to not rely on lino_local.py to configure that setting. Now the value is there, and it's getting further, but nothing showing up on mail logs yet. ...

I imagine that you must make a reproducible error situation, set a breakpoint in the logging module and then try to find why the error message is not being dispatched to the admin_email handler...

  After switching Froinde to DEBUG=False, it IS sending error emails. The DEFAULT_LOGGING values for sites are the same except that froinde has a lino_amici and jane as lino_noi loggers... Atleast we have a working site on the same server we can use for testing ra...

  Tried switching the email host to localhost rather than the ovh relay... and SR's linos still worked sending notifiation emails to us, but no errors...
