Yes, wow, it seems to have worked: the icons have changed, which is probably caused by the new primereact version. So the webpack build process works again. Great. And even my good old "Uncaught TypeError: rowData is undefined" is still there.
- 5 years, 8 months ago by Luc Saffre about #3709 (Luc getting started with React) : I found [url stackoverflow.com/questions/59235008/css-loader-has-been-initialised-using-an-options-object-that-does-not-match-the this thread] and also wrapped "plugins" and "ident" into a "postcssOptions" in my webpack.config.js. Seems to help (and the build passes), though it has warnings "You did...
- 5 years, 8 months ago by Luc Saffre about #3709 (Luc getting started with React) : Seems that webpack changed its CLI syntax (though I am surprised to not find any useful hits in the webpack changelog). I now use the webpack.config.js file as explained in [url webpack.js.org/guides/getting-started/]. Seems to work now. Though I don't understand why it worked until now. And now th...
- 5 years, 8 months ago by Luc Saffre about #3709 (Luc getting started with React) : OMG, now "npm run debug" is failing again because (as the log says) webpack is being called with "--mode none" (instead of ""--mode debug" as it should). This came IMHO after upgrading webpack from 4 to 5. Yes, I did "ncu -u" and this upgraded webpack to 5, but then I repaired my package.json and ra...
- 5 years, 8 months ago by Luc Saffre about #3709 (Luc getting started with React) : Seems that "ncu -u" potentially updates my package.json file, and "npm install" reads the package.json install what it says, and then writes package-lock.json (after actually installing or upgrading or downgrading packages in node_modules).
- 5 years, 8 months ago by Luc Saffre about #3709 (Luc getting started with React) : When I say "npm install", I get four warnings:
npm WARN optional SKIPPING OPTIONAL DEPENDENCY: fsevents@2.1.3 (node_modules/fsevents): npm WARN notsup SKIPPING OPTIONAL DEPENDENCY: Unsupported platform for fsevents@2.1.3: wanted {"os":"darwin","arch":"any"} (current: {"os":"linux","arch":"x64"}) npm... - 5 years, 8 months ago by Luc Saffre about #3709 (Luc getting started with React) : "npm ls" seems to be the equivalent of "pip freeze". For react it lists 1775 packages, i.e. is difficult to read. But "npm ls webpack" shows only the version of webpack. That's maybe my answer.
- 5 years, 8 months ago by Luc Saffre about #3709 (Luc getting started with React) : After reading [url www.geeksforgeeks.org/how-to-update-dependency-in-package-json-file/ this article] I have the feeling that things are not yet fully clear for me. One thing seems clear: after checking out an older commit of the react repo, which causes package.json and package-lock.json to change,...
- 5 years, 8 months ago by Luc Saffre about #3709 (Luc getting started with React) : When I change dependencies in my package.json, what must I do to actually install the newer (or older!) versions of my dependencies? Just "npm install"? Is that enough?
- 5 years, 9 months ago by Luc Saffre about #3709 (Luc getting started with React) (1 reply) : What is the difference between import {Foo} from 'foo' and import Foo from 'foo'? IOW what is the effect of the curly braces in an assignment target?
- 6 years ago by Luc Saffre about #3709 (Luc getting started with React) : Shared screen session with Aris.
