#4060 (Username field of login window isn't editable)

Kurzbeschreibung
I've started new project from lino with lino-react.
After build lino-react, when I'm going to sign in to my project, I can't enter any user name.
So I've tested on noi1r.lino-framework.org, but it's same.
Seems there would be an issue for CharField component.

- 5 Jahre, 6 Monate ago von charles about #4060 (Username field of login window isn't editable) : I've checked out the git commit 'release to pypi'. It uses react16 and works properly for now. Seems this issue is related with the react version 17.

- 5 Jahre, 6 Monate ago von charles about #4060 (Username field of login window isn't editable) (1 Antwort) : How to fix the react version issue? Should I continue to use react 16.6.0 or is there any way to use 17.0.1?
- 5 Jahre, 6 Monate ago von Luc Saffre about #4060 (Username field of login window isn't editable) : We use only one branch (master), and the latest version released to PyPI is stable (at least theoretically, and as far as i know this is the case now).
- 5 Jahre, 6 Monate ago von charles about #4060 (Username field of login window isn't editable) : When I change react version to 16.6.0 from 17.0.1 in packages.json and rebuild it, it works properly. I think current react components implemented in lino-react don't work for react version 17.0.1.

- 5 Jahre, 6 Monate ago von Luc Saffre about #4060 (Username field of login window isn't editable) : On Jane the issue does not yet exist. Obviously it is yet another surprise that came after upgrading to the new primereact version. So there is no way back, we just need to get through this.
- 5 Jahre, 6 Monate ago von Luc Saffre about #4060 (Username field of login window isn't editable) : Indeed, the "username" field in the login dialog window is not editable! What a flagrant bug! I hadn't noticed this because I am so used to always click on one of the user names to log in.
