  • 5 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4096 (The mystery of the failing welfare test suite) : I finished (unless I missed some detail, which will then appear on gitlab) and pushed to master.
  • 5 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4096 (The mystery of the failing welfare test suite) : I started to adapt the expected results in the doctests, but see that there is still some mysterious thing. In specs/tasks.rst it was expecting several tasks before today. But now there are none. These tasks are getting generated by the integration contracts. That's another sign that something myste...
  • 5 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4096 (The mystery of the failing welfare test suite) : For the gerd demo projects the differences are eliminated. But there are still differences for mathieu. OMG.
  • 5 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4096 (The mystery of the failing welfare test suite) : I am advancing. Seems that I "just" have to define Meta.ordering = ["id"] on the Client model. Also when inheriting it for weleup. But OMG it is still not yet done, there is appearently another model with the same problem.
  • 5 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4096 (The mystery of the failing welfare test suite) : The explanation seems clear now: the pcsw.Client model had no Meta.ordering specified, and Django 3.2 inherits ordering from Person and orders by name while Django<3.2 ordered -apparently- by id when no ordering was specified. But I still have no definitive way of convincing Django to order the old ...
  • 5 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4096 (The mystery of the failing welfare test suite) : Another hour of searching. Maybe I found it now. But wait for the test results.
  • 5 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4096 (The mystery of the failing welfare test suite) : Yet another nightly hour of research. It's still a mystery.
  • 5 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4096 (The mystery of the failing welfare test suite) : The sorting.rst file now shows differences (it passes under Django 3.1.8 and fails under Django 3.2.0), but I still didn't get enlightened about the cause of it. I added two more querysets.
  • 5 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4096 (The mystery of the failing welfare test suite) : The new code snippets in sorting.rst indicate that the difference of demo fixture occurs somewhere in the aids plugin.
  • 5 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4096 (The mystery of the failing welfare test suite) : I added a branch pre-django-3.2 (in welfare repo) in order to see the differences on Travis. But then I discovered that only the master branch is automaticallly being tested on travis. Before diving back into travis configs I will rather move the repository to GitLab then.
  • 5 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4096 (The mystery of the failing welfare test suite) : I added more code snippets to docs/specs/topics/sorting.rst in the hope of finding some difference. Until now this file passes with (1) Lino masters and both Django versions 3.1.8 or 3.2.0 and (2) with Lino PyPI version and Django 3.1.8.
