- 5 ans, 4 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4207 (Jane is slow after upgrade to dashboard_layouts) : Yes, it is now pretty sure that this issue was because the new version used multiprocessing. In notify, to have the notification messages to each recipient be created by a subprocess. This subprocess was confusing for Django. The problems disappeared after setting use_multiprocessing to False.

- 5 ans, 4 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4207 (Jane is slow after upgrade to dashboard_layouts) : I wonder whether the tracebacks after POST are because now we use multiprocessing. The production server runs two processes for serving http.
- 5 ans, 4 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4207 (Jane is slow after upgrade to dashboard_layouts) : It's not only that Jane is slow, it's also that she sometimes responds with a traceback when submitting a new ticket or comment. This problem is different but might be related.
- 5 ans, 4 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4207 (Jane is slow after upgrade to dashboard_layouts) : We switched Jane back to the old dashboard because the new DashboardLayouts still have this performance problem.
- 5 ans, 4 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4207 (Jane is slow after upgrade to dashboard_layouts) : With all slave summaries removed I see no more logical reason for this slowness. We should log the SQL statements and analyze what it is doing there.
