• 4 Jahre, 10 Monate ago von Luc Saffre about #4353 (Elastic search as an extendable feature to global SiteSearch) : I could not find the traceback of that internal server error, neither in /var/log/nginx/error.log nor in /usr/local/lino/lino_local/jane/log/lino.log. So I also uncommented them, ran reload_services.sh and then looked at /var/log/supervisor/jane-uwsgi-stderr---supervisor-MZLWsp.log before changing t...

• 4 Jahre, 11 Monate ago von Luc Saffre about #4353 (Elastic search as an extendable feature to global SiteSearch) : I changed the port from 9200 to 920 (in /etc/elasticsearch/elasticsearch.yml on bombur) to make it visible in public. But it seems that we must setup basic security for ES, otherwise it won't accept to run on a public port. See [url www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/7.15/security-minim...
• 4 Jahre, 11 Monate ago von Sharif Mehedi about #4353 (Elastic search as an extendable feature to global SiteSearch) : ElasticSearch deployment on elastic-cloud is working fine (N.B. It's a trial (free) version). And finally the tests on book are passing now. although there's a problem in pages deployment (inv bd). It might get fixed after my last commit. ElasticSearch is usable now on lino. We should think about de...

• 5 Jahre ago von Luc Saffre about #4353 (Elastic search as an extendable feature to global SiteSearch) : Probably a admin command à la "createindexes". I already started to add the instruction in hg/docs/upgrade.rst (although the command does not yet exist)
• 5 Jahre ago von Sharif Mehedi about #4353 (Elastic search as an extendable feature to global SiteSearch) : The situation is like chicken and egg! What came first, the chicken or the egg! Likewise, here with elasticsearch, we can either define the indexes (hard coded) first and then run lino or we can run lino first and then define the indexes (programmatically). I prefer the later case, defining the inde...

• 5 Jahre ago von Sharif Mehedi about #4353 (Elastic search as an extendable feature to global SiteSearch) : So far I have worked on integrating ElasticSearch with lino. Even though I have not tested anything yet, my guess is that the integration will work properly. At the moment, the test suite is running, my hope is that nothing is going to break. I will publish this half done work after documenting it.
