7 Monate, 3 Wochen ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : Uff! Tomorrow I can try printing the songsheet in a printshop: www.laudate.ee/dl/uuedlaulud.pdf
7 Monate, 4 Wochen ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : I added more subtle things: several new Song attributes (vertical_spacing_outside, vertical_spacing_inside, font_name) aren't stored in the database but might become database fields if needed.
8 Monate ago von Luc Saffre Antwort auf Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : This became a separate ticket #6638 (Sequenced always start numbering at 1) .
8 Monate ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) (2 Antworten) : TODO One more subtle thing (but a show stopper:) after manually editing the seqno of the page items, I can't get them back to start with 201 because Lino insists on renumbering them himself.
8 Monate ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : Todo: the pdf of the new songbook page needs a manual page break...
8 Monate ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : The field Song.scores_line_width is used again. Until now both templates ignored this field and had a hard-coded line-width (web 120mm and a4 180mm). The web version remains hard-coded 120mm, but the a4 version uses the value in scores_line_width. There is one song where increasing the width from 18...
8 Monate ago von Luc Saffre Antwort auf Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : The solution (found here) was to add a NullVoice with the scores to align with.
8 Monate ago von Luc Saffre Antwort auf Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : Seems that \lyricsto doesn't work well on a context that contains \partCombine: lists.nongnu.org/archive/html/lilypond-devel/2005-01/msg00112.html
8 Monate ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) (2 Antworten) : ATM Lilypond says warning: cannot find context: Voice = soprano \lyricsto "soprano" and the lyrics aren't being rendered. Trying to understand how this comes.
8 Monate ago von Luc Saffre Antwort auf Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : Now I have the parts combined, but with a silly text "a2":
8 Monate ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) (1 Antwort) : I got it almost working: Helpful reading: a and b.
8 Monate ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : One more thing: I'd like to merge S and A (and T and B) in order to save vertical space.
11 Monate, 3 Wochen ago von Luc Saffre Antwort auf Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : I now have a satisfying solution: override LyricText.font-name in the global layout. Which causes the alternate text to not be italic as ideally wanted, but at least it's smaller. Works for me.
11 Monate, 3 Wochen ago von Luc Saffre Antwort auf Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : Two screenshots to show the effect of the other_font option: The first song uses a smaller font for the second lyrics line because it's an alternative text (here in another language) and not a second verse. In the second song we want the same font for both lines.

11 Monate, 3 Wochen ago von Luc Saffre Antwort auf Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) (2 Antworten) : It's a new field Song.other_font, theoretically it should work, but I'm having silly problems with it.
11 Monate, 3 Wochen ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) (1 Antwort) : I first optimization (hopefully a quick win): add an option "alternate font on first lyrics line".
1 Jahr ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : lino.laudate.ee is now running in production, i started to configure it.
1 Jahr ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : I prefer to finish the test suite before pushing my latest work, because I will also have to release noi to PyPI becuase ets uses a PyPI environment.
1 Jahr ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : I will soon reactivate the ets site on laudate (lino.laudate.ee). And for this I will deactivate one of the public welfare demo sites
1 Jahr ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : Next step might be a Lino site songs.laudate.ee where I could publish some Taizé songs so that people can actually use them for prayer. TODO: sources.License and Song.license; use PageItem.seqno for numbering songs; add support for publisher locations on slave tables.
1 Jahr ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : A new online demo site is online, which features the new songs plugin: noidemo2.mylino.net
1 Jahr ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : I entered a few more example songs. TODO: adapt test suite and test whether it works on a production site.

1 Jahr ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : Today I started the songs plugin, which is simply added to a noi with cms and then there's no more need for an independent application.
1 Jahr, 3 Monate ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : lino.laudate.ee is back online. TODO: replace tickets.Ticket by something else, maybe publisher.Page. Or a new model songs.Song.
1 Jahr, 3 Monate ago von Luc Saffre about #4385 (The songs plugin (was: Lino Canti)) : During a brainstorming with Hannes about what we should do in order to bring Lino to a next level, I remembered this idea. A website where choirs can get a free workspace (a ledger) and upload the music sheets of their repertoire, and with the calendar plugin and agenda where they would have songs i...
