But on an Actor it does NOT make much sense, because the Actor already has layout defined on their specific name such as detail_layout, card_layout and such. So a method get_display_mode() does not make much sense. Let's say that for the application developer, display_mode must be either a string (a name of a DM) or a dict (that maps window_type to display_mode).
