• 4 ans, 6 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4451 (Getlino CI tests) : Did we ever before use postgres as database? I tried to run `pm prep` on noi1r by setting database to a dockerred postgres, and there seem to be some problem.
• 4 ans, 6 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4451 (Getlino CI tests) : added a few lines to hg/docs, see [url gitlab.com/lino-framework/hg/-/commit/06e9f464abdbb4db54710250d77fcabf43d805bc commit].
• 4 ans, 6 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4451 (Getlino CI tests) : avanti is failing on gitlab (getlino startsite) because of ugettext from django. We will have to publish avanti to pypi, where I don't have access to avanti in pypi.
• 4 ans, 6 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4451 (Getlino CI tests) : Now, I will have to reorganize triaged code(s). :)
• 4 ans, 6 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4451 (Getlino CI tests) : Finally! [url gitlab.com/lino-framework/getlino/-/jobs/2279228454 task 1] passes now! :)
• 4 ans, 6 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4451 (Getlino CI tests) : okay! inspecting the settings.py, I found out that the password is being overwritten.
• 4 ans, 6 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4451 (Getlino CI tests) : Somehow django is changing the MYSQL host addr, where gitlab vars point to [url gitlab.com/lino-framework/getlino/-/jobs/2279159933#L297 172.17.0.3], but in the end django is raising an error where the host name points to [url gitlab.com/lino-framework/getlino/-/jobs/2279159933#L3362 172.17.0.4]. • 4 ans, 6 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4451 (Getlino CI tests) : That makes sense. So we should request a mysql service in the gitlab-ci file and then simply specify the db-host and db-user when calling getlino. Which simply means that mysql installation is not covered by the test suite, similar to certbot installation. C'est la vie.
• 4 ans, 6 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4451 (Getlino CI tests) : Even though we can install mysql on a docker debian, still, it seems we can NOT start it easily. It'd be easier to implement other service for mysql & redis in gitlab ci.
• 4 ans, 6 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4451 (Getlino CI tests) : As it seems, gitlab ci is using debian docker image. service mysql restart, fails to find mysql.service because systemd has NOT been initialized on boot, which is responsible for keeping `service` up-to-date, see [url stackoverflow.com/questions/54976063/docker-archlinux-image-system-has-not-been-bo...
• 4 ans, 6 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4451 (Getlino CI tests) : In debian-11.3, we have (default-mysql-server, default-mysql-client, dbconfig-mysql) (along with many more third party packages) which should work for our purposes. But the value for getlino.utils.MySQL.apt_packages is "mysql-server libmysqlclient-dev", which is not available on bullseye. Also insta...
