• 3 ans, 6 mois ago by Luc Saffre in reply to Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : Ha! I finally found the explanation! In middleware i must ignore ?su=3 for anonymous users.
• 3 ans, 6 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) (1 reply) : I pushed my work of the last days, despite the fact that the error with the Event.user still causes 7 failures. I am confused because e.g. in min9 demo project, "pm demotest" fails, but "runserver" followed by a request from my browser works. @8lurry , can you reproduce it? Any idea for explaining it?
• 3 ans, 6 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : Before publishing my work, i have to fix 29 failures in the book test suite. Most of them are trivial, but at least one is still a riddle: pm demotest in min9 fails with "Event.user" must be a "User" instance, and I can't figure out why...
• 3 ans, 6 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : Cool! The publisher now uses the bootstrap3 header, including the language selector. But I am still not ready to publish my local changes, all this needs more testing and meditation.
• 3 ans, 6 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : I had written a method urlkwargs() but then discovered that i had already written add_user_language(), which does the same.
• 3 ans, 7 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : TODO : add language selector to publisher pages. Compare bootstrap.get_request_url(), add_user_language() and Site.urlkwargs()
• 3 ans, 7 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : We currently have a separate db model for the images in albums. Why don't we use uploads.Upload directly? The albums plugin would inject the field 'album'. And 'copyright' field, i would define it alreday in uploads, but make it optional using a plugin setting.
• 3 ans, 7 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : I rewrote the demo fixture for pages. The hierarchy navigation in publisher view (breadcrumbs, children, ...) is now more or less satisfying. Also the Hierarchical.treeview_panel is cool. TODO: language selector and prev/next buttons.
• 3 ans, 7 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : I am playing with the pages.Node.as_page() method.
• 3 ans, 8 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : Regarding lino/lino/modlib/publisher/config/publisher/base.html we probably want to use (or recycle) the lino/lino/modlib/bootstrap3/config/bootstrap3/base.html template
• 3 ans, 8 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : I want to add website-style navigation with a "main menu" and breadcrumbs. Do we need a new model publisher.MenuItem in order to define a "sitemap" that does not depend on the hierarchy of nodes?
• 3 ans, 8 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : I added admin url in the publisher template
• 3 ans, 8 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : Another missing piece is the sidebar menu. We have a solution somewhere in the bootstrap plugin. I should show it to @8lurry .
• 3 ans, 8 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : With Sharif watching I started the [url dev.lino-framework.org/plugins/publisher.html plugin reference page for publisher].
• 3 ans, 8 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : We saw cms1 demo showing it. TODO: add a button to [admin]. rename publisher_page _template to publisher_template.
• 3 ans, 8 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : Looking forward to seeing the result. Probably tonight after 20h Belgian time. Run the test suite! There might be surprises. Some demo projects use another root_url_conf
• 3 ans, 8 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : I published a little change in publisher. I removed the is_home attribute also put "/admin/" as default for the admin_location attribute. So that specifying only the "home_view" will already put the admin frontend in the admin_location
• 3 ans, 8 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : I got the publisher taking the root url working with three publisher settings. `publisher.is_home` (whether to take the root url), `publisher.home_view` (which takes a publisher url for example 'latest' for blogs or 'p' for pages to show at the root url) and `publisher.base_prefix` (which loads the o...
• 3 ans, 8 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) (1 reply) : django.conf.urls.include doesn't work on a list of urlpatterns (it only works on a urls module)
• 3 ans, 8 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : We have the Site.site_prefix, which is not used anywhere, but this was meant for having all of Lino on another location than "/". We should extend this notion. I guess that publisher.PublisherViews should have something to say in lino.core.urls. Maybe the publisher plugin would change Site.root_urlc...
• 3 ans, 8 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : Don't forget the new setting of the pages plugin that would exchange the url locations of the "admin main lage" and the pages.Node.get(ref="index") page.
• 3 ans, 9 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : I have a site up on my cosi5 vps instance at [url 8lurry.com] . Which basically is the cms project and also have the google plugin. I will try to reproduce #4777 there, and see what happens.
• 3 ans, 10 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4742 (Some changes to make the CMS demo more convincing) : Created a new Ticket.
