• 3 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4940 (Make a reasonable demo of a published calendar ) : I published my changes for this ticket. More details in [url luc.lino-framework.org/blog/2023/0425.html my blog].
• 3 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4940 (Make a reasonable demo of a published calendar ) : I started to adapt the book test suite after my changes. tests/test_system_tasks.py is unrelated to my work, still failing after the system tasks.

• 3 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4940 (Make a reasonable demo of a published calendar ) : In the roger demo project we have now an example of cal.Event being published. Since this site has no pages, users must have the link if they want to see an event. TODO: add a Search button and a way to publish list of elements to publisher.
• 3 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4940 (Make a reasonable demo of a published calendar ) : Yes, them cms1 demo won't even have the calendar plugin. Our published demo calender will be in Voga.
• 3 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4940 (Make a reasonable demo of a published calendar ) : Oh, and I just realized that this probably means that the publisher front end should *not* have "Sign in" and "Sign out" buttons! It should not even use cookies or authentication. It should function even on sites without lino.modlib.users, e.g. belref. But it may provide links to the admin front end...
• 3 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre in reply to Luc Saffre about #4940 (Make a reasonable demo of a published calendar ) : The publisher plugin should *not* require pages. And the roger demo should show public events to anonymous users using a customer-specific design. Because we will get customers who have an existing website and in a first step just want Lino to manage their calendar and enrolments.
• 3 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4940 (Make a reasonable demo of a published calendar ) (1 reply) : Right now I am meditating the question whether publisher should require pages or not.
• 3 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4940 (Make a reasonable demo of a published calendar ) : I realized only recently that a reasonable public calendar demo should not be in Lino CMS but in Lino Voga.
• 3 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4940 (Make a reasonable demo of a published calendar ) : I am still fiddling around with this. One change will (probably) be that I remove the access_class field and replace it by a simple boolean "private".
• 3 aastat, 6 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4940 (Make a reasonable demo of a published calendar ) : Here is an example in Estonia: [url loodusegakoos.ee/sundmuste-kalender#tulemus?kind=event&;county=&fromdate=01-4-2023&todate=]
