• 1 aasta, 9 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4988 (Upload a photo using Drag & Drop) : It inserts an "upload" memo command, which renders a link to the detail of that uploaded file (and that's okay), but the user can manually change the "upload" into "file" to insert the actual image.
• 1 aasta, 9 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4988 (Upload a photo using Drag & Drop) (3 replies) : The source code is in lino_react/react/components/quillmodules.jsx and it uses the Lino API in a hard-coded way. What happens on a Lino with comments but without uploads?
• 1 aasta, 9 kuud ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4988 (Upload a photo using Drag & Drop) : DnD works good for uploading.
• 2 aastat, 4 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4988 (Upload a photo using Drag & Drop) : And I want to specify the original question in more detail: I'd like to have a "landing zone" field, ideally in the dashboard, where the user can simply drop a file and Lino would silently create an uploads.Upload entry for it. No need to select "Office-> My upload files" and click the Insert button...
• 2 aastat, 4 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4988 (Upload a photo using Drag & Drop) : I wasn't able to upload a file using DnD. Is the feature broken? Or am I missing something?

I think we can get rid of this line completely or NOT. Depends on what @luc has to say about this. I am putting this ticket to talk.
• 3 aastat, 4 kuud ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4988 (Upload a photo using Drag & Drop) : It was a bug in lino.core.actions.CreateRow.save_new_instances.
• 3 aastat, 4 kuud ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4988 (Upload a photo using Drag & Drop) : DnD works fine on lino.modlib.uploads.models.Upload.file field. But there's a bug when uploading multiple files, the loadMask never goes off.
• 3 aastat, 4 kuud ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4988 (Upload a photo using Drag & Drop) (1 reply) : Why do we have two uploads plugin. One in lino and the other in xl?
• 3 aastat, 4 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4988 (Upload a photo using Drag & Drop) : I increased priority because the avanti customer asked for this.
• 3 aastat, 4 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4988 (Upload a photo using Drag & Drop) : Right now it needs a lot of determination to get a photo uploaded into a Lino site. Lino should feature the uploading of images using DnD. Let's have a brainstorming session.
• 3 aastat, 4 kuud ago by Luc Saffre about #4988 (Upload a photo using Drag & Drop) : Created new Ticket #4988 (Optimize uploading a commented photo in Amici).
