We should rather make a CalDAV plugin that turns a Lino into a calendar server that would be accessible to both Google and non-Google clanedar clients.

Seems like an important sales argument, otoh people seem to assume that this is an "obvious" and "automatic" functionality while actually there is still a lot of work to do. Actually we have nobody who is ready to invest into this.

I updated a bit in the [url dev.lino-framework.org/plugins/google.html developer docs page]. Next steps I suggest: make the sync action more "transparent": add a "preview" for every Google resource and add a way to synchronize individual resource...

I won't run the synchronize task on alpha now because i am not sure whether this could potentially "update" my google contacts to what they were last year when alpha imported them.
