#5787 (How to disable editing on a remote field)

Résumé

When you use a remote field in a detail layout or a column_names, the resulting widget is editable. Which is a bit dangerous because end-users aren't aware that they are actually changing another database row. It would be more intuitive to make remote fields read-only by default. But if we would do that, I don't know how to make a remote field editable if we wanted it.
