#6294 (Handling "well-known content")
by Luc Saffre · in Developers · assigned to Luc Saffre
Résumé
For example the song "Chiquitita" is well known. But how to store it when your users want to discuss about it? A sources.Source(title=" ABBA - Chiquitita (Official Music Video)", url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4QqMKe3rwY") is not enough because there are other possible sources, for example the English Wikipedia article about it en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiquitita or an interpretation by Sinead O'Connor www.youtube.com/watch?v=iE3meFEZEyI
Can we say that one of these sources is the "original" and all others are just derived? Or should we rather say that the "original" itself is not a source but stored in another model, and even in another plugin.
