• 3 mois, 1 semaine ago by Luc Saffre about #6923 (The insert_event action doesn't fill start_date) : Ha! We found it! The InsertEvent acgtion itself was doing kv = dict(start_date=str(ar.selected_rows[0].date))

• 3 mois, 1 semaine ago by Sharif Mehedi about #6923 (The insert_event action doesn't fill start_date) : Somehow on the Event instance the start_date is stored as a string and not a datetime.date instance. Wondering how that can happen.
• 3 mois, 1 semaine ago by Luc Saffre in reply to Sharif Mehedi about #6923 (The insert_event action doesn't fill start_date) : No. At least that's my spontaneous feeling. The front-end could use different formats depending on the user's date_format, but all JSON communication should use a same date format, which seems to be dd.mm.yy (or probably dd.mm.yyyy). That's done by the Site class. And the renderer should call lino.u...

• 3 mois, 1 semaine ago by Sharif Mehedi about #6923 (The insert_event action doesn't fill start_date) : This is caused by the expectation of the date format in react in "dd.mm.yy" format. Where as I get a date that looks like: "2017-02-15"

• 3 mois, 1 semaine ago by Luc Saffre about #6923 (The insert_event action doesn't fill start_date) : The Renderer.ar2js() calls self.get_action_status() , which calls ar.get_status(), which puts the known_values into base_parameters.
• 3 mois, 1 semaine ago by Luc Saffre about #6923 (The insert_event action doesn't fill start_date) : It is because of the Renderer.ar2js() method. The InsertEvent action specifies known_values on the ar. But ar2js() does not translate this into the js code. This might be a difficult one. Let's dive together into it.
• 3 mois, 1 semaine ago by Luc Saffre about #6923 (The insert_event action doesn't fill start_date) : How to reproduce: as robin in avanti1, open the Calendar quicklink, then switch to Daily view. A new (+) appears in the toolbar. Click on that button. It opens the insert window for cal.Events. But the start_date field is empty. It shouldn't. Then comment out the line default_ui = "lino_react.react"...
