• 5 years, 7 months ago by Luc Saffre about #4005 (No module named 'django_mailbox' in noi1e demo project) : I published my work for this (changes in lino, xl, book, atelier). I recommend to base your work on the newest master to avoid troubles when merging.
• 5 years, 7 months ago by Luc Saffre about #4005 (No module named 'django_mailbox' in noi1e demo project) : Waiting again for local test results before committing. But after all these hours I can say: We need to use a fork of the original django-mailbox package because we inject fields into the models, which is possible only for real Lino models. I tried to add the field injecting magic also to plain Djan...
• 5 years, 7 months ago by Luc Saffre about #4005 (No module named 'django_mailbox' in noi1e demo project) : I am still having an Exception when I do pm prep in noi1e: Invalid users.SocialAuthsByUser.master_key 'user' (<class 'social_django.models.UserSocialAuth'> has fields id, user, provider, uid, extra_data, workflow_buttons)

• 5 years, 7 months ago by Luc Saffre about #4005 (No module named 'django_mailbox' in noi1e demo project) : The django-mailbox@git+github.com/cylonoven/django-mailbox (Tonis's wrapper to django_mailbox) is no longer needed because lino.core.inject.on_class_prepared() now calls Model.django2lino(). But Tonis's wrapper also had the positive side effect of fixing their issue 150. What a mess! But since nobo...
• 5 years, 7 months ago by Luc Saffre about #4005 (No module named 'django_mailbox' in noi1e demo project) : I will simply disable usage of lino_xl.lib.mailbox in the noi1e project (and in migs as well). We aren't using this functionality anyway.
• 5 years, 7 months ago by Luc Saffre about #4005 (No module named 'django_mailbox' in noi1e demo project) : It seems that this is indeed a bug in django_mailbox: [url github.com/coddingtonbear/django-mailbox/issues/150 issue 150]. The bug has been reported in 2017, and a pull request was submitted, but this PR is still not not merged into master.
• 5 years, 7 months ago by Luc Saffre about #4005 (No module named 'django_mailbox' in noi1e demo project) : Turns out that the new version of django_mailbox has at least one change that causes the lino demo fixture to fail with ValidationError: {'eml': ['This field cannot be blank.']}. Yes, this fixture didn't specify the raw message content.

• 5 years, 7 months ago by Luc Saffre about #4005 (No module named 'django_mailbox' in noi1e demo project) : No reason to feel guilty. Yes, it took me two hours, but it was worth the work. I discovered that the lino mailbox plugin required github.com/cylonoven/django-mailbox, a wrapper around the real django-mailbox package. That's suboptimal. I had ever dived into why this wrapper was need, now I realized...
• 5 years, 7 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4005 (No module named 'django_mailbox' in noi1e demo project) : I am sorry Luc. I didn't know you were working on it for this whole hour, if I'd known, I'd have told you sooner that I think there's nothing to fix. Maybe you did not understand my previous comment clearly, I am sorry for that too, for not clearly stating the fact. I got the error message because, ...
• 5 years, 7 months ago by Luc Saffre about #4005 (No module named 'django_mailbox' in noi1e demo project) : This is funnily difficult to fix. It's because lino_xl.lib.mailbox needs django_mailbox as a plugin, and also uses inject_field and update_field on a model of this plugin.
• 5 years, 7 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4005 (No module named 'django_mailbox' in noi1e demo project) : Sorry, my bad! I purged my lino system yesterday after having trouble with react. After reinstallation, I forgot to run "pip install -r book/requirements-include.txt".
• 5 years, 7 months ago by Luc Saffre about #4005 (No module named 'django_mailbox' in noi1e demo project) : I can reproduce the problem after saying "pip uninstall django-mailbox".
• 5 years, 7 months ago by Luc Saffre about #4005 (No module named 'django_mailbox' in noi1e demo project) : Quick workaround is probably to say pip install 'django-mailbox'. But the question is: why is the dependency missing?
