  • 4 years, 3 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : An Enrolment in voga is also an InvoiceGenerator, which make sense and logical. I am trying make Enrolment (in medico) also an InvoiceGenerator, which requires a reference to the ledger.PaymentTerm, in voga payment_term is stored in Course model but in medico the concept of Course differs vastly, in...
  • 4 years, 3 months ago by Luc Saffre in reply to Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : One idea here is that you might need to do this at the right moment, i.e. from within your app's workflows_module. You should write your own workflows module (where you can import existing modules).
  • 4 years, 3 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) (1 reply) : Currently it seems we cannot override a workflow state transition. My use case: in lino_xl.lib.cal.workflows.feedback we have an action PublishEvent which is set to EntryStates.published as transition in the reception plugin. I want to override this PublishEvent but after sub-classing the PublishEve...
  • 4 years, 3 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : I want to have NOT inherit some Actor classes from the parent module (as in, when I am extending a plugin, in the desktop.py I want NOT to have some Actors that are in the original plugin ('s desktop.py) that I am extending from), which is NOT possible since Actor.meta.__new__ adds them to the globa...
  • 4 years, 3 months ago by Luc Saffre in reply to Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : If we do it as Google, the user would simply modify the first entry of the new schedule, and Lino would ask whether to modify "only this entry" or "this and all remaining entries".
  • 4 years, 3 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) (1 reply) : cal.EntryRepeater use-case (in Medico): Say a physician sits on a place on a fixed day of every week, for which medico will have a repeated cal entry set, if the authorities or the physician decides that the day the physician sits should change then lino should have a action that should create a db-...
  • 4 years, 3 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : CheckinVisitor (is a subclass of NotifyingAction) action does NOT produces an action_url and also the message_body is not reasonable.
  • 4 years, 5 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : I have a question regarding workflow_buttons, that is, we have ReceiveVisitor (and some other similar) independent actions on the reception plugin. But how are they put to cal.Guest.workflow_buttons?
  • 4 years, 5 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : For medico ((probably) as well as for welfare), we can try to re-implement the websocket protocol. I have tried to do it so before but failed. And I did some more study on "django-channels". If @luc agrees, I can try to give it another go.
  • 4 years, 6 months ago by Sharif Mehedi in reply to Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : Did NOT have to work on URL_PARAM_FIELD_VALUES on react side. Just had to take the value for `sr` from status.record_id, which react were NOT taking before.
  • 4 years, 6 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) (1 reply) : At the moment react does NOT have support for constants.URL_PARAM_FIELD_VALUES. (The reason why checkin action is NOT working.)
  • 4 years, 6 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : CheckinVisitor inherits from NotifyingAction. When I try to run the Checkin action NotifyingAction.action_param_defaults raises "2017129 called without obj".
  • 4 years, 7 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : At the moment the SiteSearch table returns database singletons. But searching, in most cases, depends on groups of models. For example, if a Patient searches for some physician (with certain specialties, in some locale) then the search results should include some custom result that would create a da...
  • 4 years, 7 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : The concept of course in medico defers considerably then what we have in xl/lib/couses. If we compare courses.Line to an appointment schedule of a physician then Line should be a RecurrenceSet as well as an EventGenerator. Also a Course can have random events which are NOT necessarily (and almost al...
  • 4 years, 8 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : cal.RecurrenceSet.positions is useful for visual representation (there's no doubt in that) but I think it is insufficient for analytics, "POSITION_TEXTS" cover a little for this insufficiency. How can we improve it?
  • 4 years, 8 months ago by Luc Saffre in reply to Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : Good work!
  • 4 years, 8 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) (1 reply) : About making a lino measurement plugin. I started writing one. Here's now the choicelists looks like: ============================================================================= # (TLDR) skip ahead to read my actual point on this =====================================================================...
  • 4 years, 9 months ago by Luc Saffre about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : En passant we added book/topics/m2m.rst and released atelier 1.1.41 to support a new feature in Sphinx.
  • 4 years, 9 months ago by Sharif Mehedi in reply to Luc Saffre about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : Should I try add more compatible and easy to use frontend functionalities for ManyToManyField?
  • 4 years, 9 months ago by Luc Saffre in reply to Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) (1 reply) : Not sure whether I like this plan. ManyToManyField is generally not a good idea.
  • 4 years, 9 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : I am having another app named 'measurements'. At the moment the measurements.models.py looks like this:
    # -*- coding: UTF-8 -*- # Copyright 2022 Rumma & Ko Ltd # License: GNU Affero General Public License v3 (see file COPYING for details)
    from django.db import models
from lino.api import dd, _ fro...
  • 4 years, 9 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) (1 reply) : We need to have product specifications such as, physical dimension (i.e. syringe has length and radius IOW volume), standard values (i.e. minimum and maximum counts from a bilirubin test that is accepted as normal) etc. For physical dimension, I will have a model PhysicalDimension with fields [name,...
  • 4 years, 9 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : Which build_method to use as default for medico? at the moment settings.SITE.default_build_method is None.
  • 4 years, 9 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4423 (Add courses, products and orders tables to medico) : First we (@luc and I) probably should have a brainstorming session.
