• 4 ans, 1 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4496 (Make "Spawn child ticket" create a ticket with parent. Stop using "dependencies" (ticket links)) : I started to remove the tickets.Link model and tickets.LinkTypes choicelist. And the LinksByTcket slave table. I just comment them out for the moment just in case I change my mind later.
• 4 ans, 2 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #4496 (Make "Spawn child ticket" create a ticket with parent. Stop using "dependencies" (ticket links)) : I plan to write a data checker LinkChecker, which would emit a data problem when a tickets.Link exists but the parent field does not point to the child. We would run this checker on Jane and let it fix these problems. And when all problems are fixed, we make a new release where the Link model (and t...

And before removing it, I want to have a look at the existing data in Jane and decide whether we want to convert existing links to parent/child relationships when migrating. Or alternatively maybe we just throw this data away.

Stop using "dependencies" (ticket links)) : Yes, I mentioned this when we spoke about it. But after having looked into the code, I now think: that's not a case of customizing the insert action. You just adapt the existing lino_xl.lib.tickets.models.SpawnChild action to no longer create a Link and to just fill the parent field of the new ticke...

Stop using "dependencies" (ticket links)) (1 reply) : As we discussed, SpawnChild action should be more like insert action. But here I have a question, that is, should I extend the Tickets.insert_action or just extend the parameters of the SpawnChild action?
