And before removing it, I want to have a look at the existing data in Jane and decide whether we want to convert existing links to parent/child relationships when migrating. Or alternatively maybe we just throw this data away.

You just adapt the existing lino_xl.lib.tickets.models.SpawnChild action to no longer create a Link and to just fill the parent field of the new ticke...
