• 3 years, 9 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4649 (How to use getlino for deploying a pure django app ) : I am wondering whether I should make the two mandatory arguments appname, prjname (passed to startsite) optional, so that the command is able run with a given lino.ini file.

And then we extend getlino startsite command with an option that reads a lino.ini file and uses this info to create a site. And you could manually change the lino.ini to deploy your non-pypi app.

• 3 years, 10 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4649 (How to use getlino for deploying a pure django app ) : Maybe we can simply have a file like /etc/getlino/getlino.apps or ~/getlino.apps. where a user will be able to put some apps in csv format and getlino will load them on every run.
• 3 years, 10 months ago by Sharif Mehedi about #4649 (How to use getlino for deploying a pure django app ) : I want to have a command that will simply pull some repo and setup a site for it.
• 4 years ago by Luc Saffre about #4649 (How to use getlino for deploying a pure django app ) : When it works, it should get documented in the Hosting Guide.
• 4 years ago by Luc Saffre about #4649 (How to use getlino for deploying a pure django app ) : In that case the user would just supply the settings.py themselves (e.g. from a git repository) and getlino would do the rest.
