Commentaires

3 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : I took care of the data migrations and upgraded pronto.bd site.
4 mois, 1 semaine ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : I have pushed some changes in lino and xl, along with translation strings, lino contains changes in site where in for_each_plugin we iterate the mro in reverse order, so that the leaf plugin is handled last so that the updates in leaf plugin takes effect over the base plugins. Also in xl, I updated ...
4 mois, 1 semaine ago by Luc Saffre about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : I saw that you added a model RecentPartner in pronto contacts. Interesting. Maybe rename it to ContacstInfo.last_partner and also put the partner and company and person fields there. Or add a field last_partner to accounting.LedgerInfo.
4 mois, 2 semaines ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : I went to give Rasel demo about the new features. He was satisfied with some of them and about the others, he asked me to give him the ability to add to VatProductInvoice, directly from the MyProducts table, without needing to use the ShoppingCart user plan. This change will result in less button pr...
6 mois, 1 semaine ago by Luc Saffre in reply to Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : During today's Jitsi, we realized that pronto probably doesn't need the finan plugin. Small shop owners in BD have no obligation to submit an annual accounting report to the tax office. They simply look into their bank app when they want to know how much money they have.
6 mois, 1 semaine ago by Luc Saffre in reply to Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : A historical event, isn't it? The first end user in Bangladesh using a Lino site!
6 mois, 1 semaine ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) (1 reply) : I little progress toward the long mile.
Today I help Rasel index and take pictures of about 30 different products into Pronto BD.
6 mois, 1 semaine ago by Luc Saffre about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : I added a section "Accounting" in the manual testing suite. TODO: write a few meaningful stories there.
6 mois, 1 semaine ago by Luc Saffre about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : I reviewed the user guide page about the finan plugin. But then I realized that this isn't a good answer to your question.
6 mois, 1 semaine ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) (1 reply) : @luc Can you give me some examples maybe on demo sites or on docs of what are the things that I can do with the finan plugin?
6 mois, 1 semaine ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : Instead of iterating over all the partners we might do groupby.
6 mois, 1 semaine ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : Now I find this other problem, that is in DebtorsCreditors.get_data_rows lino iterates over all the partners, which might become problematic when the database gets bigger.
6 mois, 1 semaine ago by Luc Saffre in reply to Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : A movement is always in a given journal, so AFAICS you might filter on voucher__journal__ledger.
6 mois, 1 semaine ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) (1 reply) : At the moment ledger Movement-(s) doesn't care for the user's ledger. In Debtors and Creditors table all the movements are visible. Need to fix this. But not sure how.
7 mois, 1 semaine ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : I went to meet Rasel, tried to give him a demo of the app, and fallen into trouble because of some bugs. Time to write some test cases.
7 mois, 2 semaines ago by Luc Saffre about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : We tested it: it works. But it is poorly documented.
7 mois, 2 semaines ago by Luc Saffre in reply to Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : This is documented in dev.lino-framework.org/specs/migrate.html Basically you must simply create a subdirectory named migrations, and run makemigrations before the upgrade.
7 mois, 2 semaines ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) (1 reply) : Pronto has the potential to be a big project, and the way we do database migration is not probably the right solution. If the database becomes big, dump and restore will not be the optimal solution. I am thinking about ways to handle migrations.
8 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : You seem to want a kind of "force subst_user" feature: after signing in, Lino would always ask which authority the user decides to work as.
8 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi in reply to Luc Saffre about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : That should be fine. When the phantom users has email they will get notifications on those emails. I don't want to fill the phantom users email field with real users email because I want have the email field unique. To avoid many duplicate users. There will be a lot of less intelligent users in BD, ...
8 mois ago by Luc Saffre in reply to Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : And indeed emit_notification should send to the subst_user and not to the real user when there is an su. I think we should leave emit_notification as efficient as possible, that's why I'd prefer it to *not* look up the authorities if possible.
8 mois ago by Luc Saffre in reply to Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) (1 reply) : What if the phantom user accounts would still have an email address? It would be usually the same email as the owner, but maybe the owner even wants different email addresses depending on the su.
8 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) (2 replies) : Pronto uses Authority to manage Ledger subscriptions. For one real person we want only one real user account with usable password. And when this person works for some wholesaler or a shop then this real user has authority over some other user object (without password) that has subscription to the wh...
8 mois, 3 semaines ago by Luc Saffre about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : Maybe just add the lino_xl.lib.storage plugin to shop? First site owner will be a wholeseller.
8 mois, 3 semaines ago by Luc Saffre about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : My feeling currently says that pronto needs to be multi-tenant, with products and contacts being shared but everything else is separated. If we don't want two different database rows for an order (a sales order for the customer and a purchase order for the supplier), then we need can't use Lino's ac...
8 mois, 3 semaines ago by Luc Saffre about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : The Lino business plugins are currently designed for being used by one of the business partners, not by both. When a citizen buys a product item from a reseller, then this is a purchase operation for the citizen and a sales operation for the reseller.
9 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : In support to probable future POS services by pronto, I think it will be better to have a separate cart for ordering.
9 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : In the UserPlan.create_user_plan, lino checks if the plan.today has changed and resets the plan. I am NOT entirely sure if we want this on a purchase order, a user may add products to cart in a span of multiple days, and we don't want the plan to remove all the items that has been added before today...
9 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : todo: Let shopping.CartItem become InvoiceGenerator, and its get_generators_for_plan() must return the queryset on all cart items.
9 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : maybe not needed: todo: write a new plugin "acquiring" or "procurement" or "purchasing" or "ordering", as a copy of shopping. But here the shopping cart is called "Ordering cart". And the ordering cart may create multiple orders to suppliers.
NB: the current "orders" plugin should get a better name.
9 mois ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : I am wondering should the CartItem in shopping plugin be InvoiceGenerator?
9 mois, 1 semaine ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : One question, how to have the babel attributes searchable through quick_search_fields.
9 mois, 1 semaine ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : I probably don't want everybody to be able to create products.Product, and monitor and control the product insertion, probably a supplier should be able to create a "product insert request" and some admin controlling the product index can approve or deny the request. Not sure if this is the right ap...
9 mois, 1 semaine ago by Sharif Mehedi about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : So I have storage.Filler(s), storage.Provision(s), products.PartnerPrice(s) and products.ProductGallery, I want to let the users create their provisions, fillers, image gallery and set their prices for a given product, I bit confused on how to organize them all together.
1 année, 5 mois ago by Luc Saffre about #5350 (Write a first prototype for pronto (checkout pronto)) : You can always reactivate alpha and beta.mylino.net on pilv. See /etc/supervisor/conf.disabled/
