It works in both front end and contains a single class "bordertext", which isn't used right now but I didn't yet want to throw it away...

My current solution is that display mode "story" is the "threaded" view and "list" is the "flat" view. Test suite is running. When this ticket is done, I'll make another upgrade to Jane.
